Hello hello and hello! This is the very first Frisky Friday since the big switch and all. Not familiar with Frisky Friday? Here’s the lowdown:
I review adult toys. Once a month (or, once every other month sometimes if I get aboard the Fail Boat and don’t request my product in time) I review a new item from Eden Fantasys. I attempt to be tasteful and not graphic in my posts, but if the thought of me using said products gives you the heebie jeebies (like, if you’re related to me or something) or if reading about this sort of stuff just isn’t your thing, feel free to skip the post. I always post a Frisky Friday image at the top to warn you that it’s about to get steamy up in this piece!
…..Did I just say “it’s about to get steamy up in this piece?” ……. Yeah, I did. Aaaaanyway. On to the review!
This month’s product was the Passion Play BDSM kit.
- Material: Faux Fur
- Color: Animal Pattern
- Closure: Velcro
- Weight: .3 lb
So, I admit. Sometimes, I like to be tied up. We’ve done it in the past but we’ve never owned an actual accessory for being tied up, we’ve always just improvised and used ties, robe belts, and I think once when we were really desperate we may have ripped a t-shirt and used it. Whatev. The point is, this was my first accessory that was MADE for tying me up. The Passion Play kit comes with wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs, and a blindfold. After we put the babe to bed one evening we were fooling around and I suggested that we put the kit to good use. Before I could say “tie me up” I found myself naked on the bed with Josh putting the wrist cuffs on me. He’s fast, I tell ya. He went to work “downtown” and I just lay back, enjoying the fact that I was out of control and put my orgasmic fate in his hands. Er, tongue. Er.. Whatever . So, if you’ve ever had a partner who was adept in the Oral Arts you know there’s a fair amount of squirming involved. In the past, when we used our makeshift retrains they’d dig into my wrists and cause quite a bit of discomfort when I’d begin wriggling. Luckily, the cuffs are padded enough and quite wide so there was no digging! There isn’t much else to say in regards to the performance of the item. They served their purpose, and they served them well. We actually didn’t get around to using the ankle cuffs, and I forgot there was even a blindfold. I was very pleased. When we opened the cuffs Josh scoffed and said, “These will never stay fastened.” Ohhh, how wrong he was. It was actually a struggle to get the velcro undone when our little romp was over. It’s strong as hell!
Some people may be scared away by the thought of BDSM play because they have images of whips, chains, and ball gags dancing through their heads but the fact of the matter is, you can play with light BDSM without it getting scary. The Passion Play kit is a very, very good start for couples who want a little spice, and a little something different. I’d highly recommend!
I was given the opportunity to review this product because of my participation in EdenFantasys‘ review program. I received no monetary compensation and was given this product for review purposes. The opinions expressed in this post are entirely honest and my own.
