Nellie Rose in 3d

We had our 3d ultrasound yesterday. We definitely have a little girl. We were PRETTY sure, but now we’re 100%. She’s a she for sure!

The experience was amazing, and I’m so glad my dad gave this to us as a Christmas gift. It was truly unique and amazing. We received a DVD of the entire session, so we can watch her in motion whenever we like. She has her daddy’s nose and lips, and her mommy’s chin (notice the chin dimple in one of her pictures.. That comes from me!). She also inherited one of her daddy’s cheek dimples. You can see it when she smiles. She was pretty uncooperative at first – keeping her hands in front of her face for a long time. The woman had me roll to my side and eat a piece of chocolate – that did the trick! She yawned several times for us, made some really cute faces and stuck her tongue out. Anyway, here’s a few of our favorite pictures of little miss Nellie Rose!

We’re so in love with our little daughter. It was such an amazing experience. Now we have a little face to put with her movements; she has her own personality and we’ve seen it in motion… It makes those kicks and nudges even more precious. To any mommy to be contemplating getting this done, if you have the means I would HIGHLY recommend you do it. It’s well worth the money; this is something priceless to treasure forever!

Nellie Rose – 24w3d

Our appointment yesterday went fantastically well. The doctor got a good, clear shot at all four chambers of her heart which is what she wanted. She was awesome enough to keep looking around for us; confirming that she is in fact a GIRL! and just giving us a good long look at our little lady. We got several good pictures, and one really good face shot. It almost looks 3d. I was in awe the entire time. I had been feeling worried since she’s been quieter, but everything looks perfect. She was snuggling and sleepy the whole time, unlike the last visit where she was doing flips and turns. She was curled up, and even got the hiccups! It was so amazing to see her whole body shake and her little mouth open as she hiccuped. She gave us a good smile, and she looks like her daddy already. She definitely has his nose. I was watching my baby girl curled up, shifting and elbowing me (which I could feel) and tears starting falling down my cheeks. I don’t know what it was about the last visit; if I was too anxious to find out what the sex was or what, but I just didn’t feel as in awe as I did this time. I was also relieved to see everything is OK.

So, here’s the three best pictures that we got of little miss…. Enjoy.

Gummi Green

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a baby WITH A WONDERFUL STRONG HEARTBEAT!!!!!!!!

Our little Gummi Bear is measuring TWO WHOLE DAYS AHEAD!!! Our new EDD is January 17th, 2010. Our doctor said repeatedly that the heartbeat looked perfect, and everything looked just wonderful. We saw the nice, round yolk sac with the cord beginning to attach. It looked like the baby was holding a balloon! The doctor said, “She’s celebrating!!”

It was so amazing. We saw the heart beating, and the baby even did a little dance for us!!!! Oh, I am so in love. I cried so hard when the doctor said everything looked perfect. I am over the moon right now!!! I could have watched our little Gummi Bear all day…
